Boom is all hype and tiny message. The one and only reason why millions of people watched that movie was because of the hot scene of Katrina Kaif in Boom. In spite of the 'big' cast ensemble that includes three sensual belles - Padma, Katrina and Madhu Sapre Amitabh Bachchan, and the Hollywood stunner Bo Derek, the film fails to carry the spectator concern.

There's lot of vulnerability [ and vulgarity too, thanks to the erotic personality Boom Shankar played by Javed Jaffery ] that makes the movie unwatchable for the house bunch.

All-dressed in white, Big B plays the underworld kingbolt Bade Mia who pleasures in scanning comics and chasing after Hollywood illusions in his free time.

Zeenat Aman, who returns to silver screen after a long-lasting sabbatical leave, is gone in the role of Bade Mia's secretary who also does a jig for her boss at times. Madhu Sapre is nearly ok. The three models' share to the film is just limited to glamour and sex appeal.

Katrina Kaif in boom has a, hot scene in which Katrina seduces Gulshan Grover, Boom is the debut movie of katrina kaif, and this is one of the most famed scenes of Katrina kaif from Boom, this is the movie through which hot honey Katrina said her debut into bollywood. Fashion designers Tarun Tahiliani, Wendell Rodricks and Rohit Bal, who play cameo parts in the film, typify painful acting.

Jackie Shroff looks trendy playing Chhote Mia, the sinful wiseguy who makes fifty-fifty part in all his deals.

Genuine amusement comes from Javed Jaffery, who shows his aptitude for comedy in the role of a lewd personality Boom Shankar. The girls can hardly act. Point taken. But they are at home in their underclothes, in a way that our other self-constituted actresses never will be. Or any of us, in fact. It is highly unlikely that there are any actresses in India who can agree into their parts [ or clothes ], if these girls can't. Sorry, still bad their acting turns out to be, there is no one else who can play the parts of nasty-mouthed models among our large lot Bollywood of actresses. Javed Jaffrey's acting is good, the role fits him like a glove [ though I am confident Kaizad Gustad can reckon about a hotter simile ]. Bachchan is the surprise package of the film. Every single review has blamed him for acting in Boom. Mayank Shekhar wants him to apologize to the nation. Others can't believe how Bachchan gave his agree to this picture. I am no fan of Big B. He is an aging actor, holding up on the magic of his mega star heydays and Kaun Banega Crorepati. Even his most recent ads on telly are stupid. But in Boom, Bachchan shines. As the kingbolt of a smuggling ring, Bachchan is at his best. If the ultimate job if an actor is to be the personality, the man has done it with coolness. He plays a smuggler-king, obsessed with Miss-India type ladies, hates ladies with any touch of moustaches, kills without remorse, and essentially looks like the third-rate, rich, common, subculture type in Dubai to a T. Oh, he hates the daddy you wish you had, dears. He doesn't flavor dignified - the horror! The Horror! He is not not the hero, he's demon incarnate! My advice to journalists - Go have a peg of inexpensive vodka and curse him using new words you have picked up from Kaizad's movie. The less asserted the better. The tale does not hang together, defies logic, defies everything. It is supremely unfilled.

Boom does not have a script, for all virtual roles. Thea disappears, leaving no traces, just like a UFO. Boom the film is hardly hung together by the smartness of its witticisms. But beneath this gloss and sheen, there is barely anything in the movie to draw a picture buff to the theatre. still, people who have an concern in the skin fest by the 3 models would find the film worth watching.
