Movie review: Green Lantern meets a red light

Okay, first things first. I may not watch movies in 3D and the Green Lantern is not particularly a preferred Super Heroes of mine. Having said that I will not look for a continuation of this franchise, but that is not watching it just for the heck of it bothers us, but I think still not very of 3D.

Green Lantern history

Martin Campbell, the man, the success of the James Bond franchise the film twice (golden eye and Casino Royale) saw, as the perfect choice to direct Green Lantern, outdated and with an estimated budget of over $150 million has very little to offer. Ryan Reynolds is Hal Jordan, test pilot of par excellence that comes in contact with a green ring, conveys the great powers and makes him a superhero, that no harm to escape.

Reynolds gives a certain amount of impish charm of the Jordan / Green Lantern character but in contrast to an Ironman, where the script on the research of Tony Stark focused more than anything else, Green Lantern waste, fool proofing everything at the level of boredom. "Yellow energy of fear", so there a lot of hocus pocus is the Emerald energy of willpower and others, that you expected based in a film on a cartoon character, but all this talk doesn't really add anything large of the procedure.

While Jordan, trying to figure out what to do battle with his new, green steak, far away in the universe in a place called sector 2814, where the guardians of the universe millions of years before the Earth formed nasty Corps created force called Green Lantern, there is excitement. Its most common fighters Abin sur (Temuera Morrison), who died and his ring chose Jordan, was a former Lantern by Parallax, wants to destroy all sectors of the universe is killed. The ring, which never makes a mistake in choosing their owners, gives Jordan with superhuman powers and works on the premise that if not fearless, or responsible, he has to it in his turn; This process of self-realization has only briefly explored. It looks as if Reynolds and his looks good leading man the ring doing a favor and Jordan never really bother beyond a point. Eventually Jordan finds his calling and called Sinestro (mark strong), a lantern, to help him fight parallax. But Sinestro refuses him, as he believes that no one can defeat the wearer of the yellow power of fear. Finally, if Jordan wrong proves it Sinestro accepted him into the brotherhood.

Last words on Green Lantern

There are a lot of backstory, the Campbell tried, packaging, but that won't make you way in which it unfolds want to know more. To see the hero, his fears to overcome but Reynolds is complacency, are falls that suddenly he decides his time and snaps everything. Green Lantern is one of the very few superheroes stories, where the power of a few people and be sure, it will be a few more sequels, where, hopefully, the screen time will fill much more interesting sidekicks and partners in crime.

And also, on the one film viewing in 3D would be optimized! It is undeniable that more and more would be released movies in 3D, but something about the way needs to be done, in which the audience is forced to watch it.

The Green Lantern movie review

I thought never in a million years that I would get to see a live-action Green Lantern film. All members of the Justice League, he was a character that seemed to be at least familiar, and the hardest to develop into a stand-alone film. Add to the the fact that pretty much all the Green Lantern powers come from the ring, which means that the special effects to be that they are credible and that the film would use most of a ton of effects. Fortunately the technology is now to turn into a reality, and so now we have Green Lantern in his own film. My hope is that this additional to individual films for each Member of the Justice League, as marvel with the members of the Avengers in the run-up to the Avengers movie has done due to the outside could lead a Justice League film in the run-up to next year. I will but can my thumb, which are, in the meantime to discuss their current efforts by Green Lantern.

For those of you not familiar with the Green Lantern he is corps member of a larger group called Green Lantern. You are an organization, by the guardians of the universe, which patrol maintain the entire Galaxy balance and justice in the entire universe created. Each Green Lantern is proven a unique ring, which allows all create the Lantern, what they can imagine. You see, the ring is powered by willpower and the things he created are only as strong as the will power to use the Lantern. The film deals mainly with the first human Green Lantern, Hal Jordan, and gives us also a great introduction to the Green Lantern Corps, the guardians and their worst enemy parallax.

For the most part, I was delighted by the story, which first Green Lantern told them about the origin of the Earth. The cast of Ryan Reynolds was almost perfect, but the actor who stole the show for me was mark strong as Sinestro. I can imagine someone else not that close could come to his performance. If only they the villain of the film had made it, but I hope that this is good enough to warrant a sequel. In fact, the best parts of the entire film were with the Corps as to do a whole and all of the scenes shot at home on the world of OA Lantern. If only they accept the scenes with HAL Abin sur and his destroyed spaceship and HAL finally had held to find the ring, but when he moved to OA travels record and learning of the Corps, there remained should action, HAL and the entire Corps of Parallax fighting have HAL back to earth than it is protectors have come. I was just not as impressed by HAL after coming back from OA, if he decides that he would accept the responsibility of becoming Green Lantern. She could have created simply history an origin, that found on the OA and only on Earth for the beginning and the end of the film was. That being said, I was always still incredibly impressed by what they have managed to put together and the whole story, which tells them. This was a good introduction to this amazing character, but it is only the tip of the iceberg, all the Green Lantern to do and how important it is to the security of the Earth and the Galaxy, he contributes to the protection.

If you're any fan of Superman or Batman, you should go and watch this movie. Thinking that Green Lantern is one of the seven founding members of the Justice League, the Batman, Superman, wonder woman, Flash, Aquaman and Martian Manhunter contains. I can not tell you how much I hope and pray that we get to see not only individual films for each of these characters, but also see, together in a Justice League movie. This film a chance, despite bad reviews, you might have seen, and diving a into this amazing world. If this film also does not do our chances will see more of these characters in their own films disappear before they are given the chance, even.

Movie review: James Cameron Sanctum (2011)

Perhaps we have before not in this exact situation, but certainly a similar. Sanctum rarely presents all thrills outside of the predictable Poseidon-like disaster/adventure movie staple and a predictable route follows through their labyrinthine abyss complete with obligatory panicked survivors, expected malfunctions and inevitable weather equipment complications. It is still an interesting journey thanks to one moments exciting decent portion, but it is regrettable that the characters keep not the same level of intrigue. Heavy tired dialogue and a few too many annoying, affect very thin personas doses of the tragedy and shocking action that seeps into the second half of the film. With James Cameron name attached perhaps is only really shocking element the absence of extraterrestrial life.

The enormous and almost inaccessible caves of ESA is exactly contain ALA the last unexplored areas on Earth - and that, in the Cave Diver Carl Hurley (Ioan Gruffudd) want to go. Funds for a few months long expedition, hires Carl master cavers Frank McGuire (Richard Roxburgh) and his experienced team of researchers, which set out the cave system and finds a route to the sea. Brings his girlfriend Victoria occurs (Alice Parkinson) together for a little Spelunking fun, Carl frank and his crew for their latest breakthrough to a new section of the cave. But stranded her adventures in exploration quickly to frenzied bidding for survival when an unexpected Flash flood strikes and the small group of explorers, including Frank's wayward son Josh (Rhys Wakefield), in the tunnel. Frank determines how the caves fill with water and the only exit is blocked, that is their only chance for salvation to head deeper into the unknown regions of the labyrinth.

"What could go diving in caves may be wrong?" Victoria asks rhetorically, quite careless. Apparently she has never seen a film by James Cameron. Sanctum the abyss is undeniably similar to but not without several incredibly exciting scenes, some unpleasant surprises and stunning scenery. To further distinguish itself of other generic thriller, has not often in such adventures found a striking attention to realism sanctum. While there are certainly creative liberties taken (the true event-inspiration is drastically changed), the sustained notions of death, injury and panic without interference of science fiction credibly be presented elements or timidity, when dealing with gut-wrenching dilemmas.

Like a much more intense, complex version of 127 hours (with like-minded people ready to risk the dangers consciously and therefore harder to sympathize with), Sanctum focuses on several fears: claustrophobia, choking up, less conventional, darkness, hypothermia, hunger, decompression sickness, inexperience, pain, heights and a few surprising graphic horror. Creeping fear and finally nerve-wracking panic, with grain and high voltage turns shown differences in opinions. Although the typical nature and the construction of the team of explorers - together with their bad introductory dialogue - spell disaster for the character development and acting categories, delivered as soon as error, no let-up launch the crew of the standard of snowball effect of disaster movies. How many is the original dynamics of the predicaments enough audience on the edge of their seats for the execution time despite leaving a really satisfactory degree noticeably difficult to keep.

Movie review: No strings attached (2011)

Natalie Portman decided immediately after the success of the Black Swan, her Golden Globe best actress win, an inevitable Oscar nomination and worldwide critical acclaim with Ashton Kutcher in a raunchy sex comedy/drama star. The fact not this renowned filmmaker, who was attached to Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters, meatballs), direct give legitimacy to the project, because it was financed by Portman's production company. It seems that the popular star tried to shed her "good girl" image. In spite of their role in the professional and their risky appearances in v vendetta and closer, you can run not by the Queen Amidala part. She removed strip more clothing for no strings attached, but the same level of nothing as usual - shows your blatant maybe "no nudity clause" is one of the reasons, they cannot escape their past. You can only hope that this film not the same devastating effect Norbit on Eddie Murphy shot at a 2006 Academy Award (for Dreamgirls had) have.

Adam Franklin (Ashton Kutcher) and Emma Kurtzman (Natalie Portman) was always a little weird outcasts in their own minds as a teenager when they first met at a camp. Years pass, and they continue to meet at random, because they will realize that they have an undeniable still nameless attraction towards others. If Adams father (Kevin Kline), Vanessa (Ophelia Lovibond), a sexy young woman that is solved only with Adam, to this day which gets understandably angry drunk everyone son in his phone, until someone agrees, to sleep with him. He awakes the next morning naked, in the apartment of Emma and with no memory of events of the previous night.

This leads to a "friends with benefits" scenario in which Emma would have only a physical relationship with Adam. And she has no fear to speak minded with blatant definitions, clear, open and confident about their affair. His friends Eli (Jake Johnson) and Wallace (Ludacris) think him gold, but he realized Adam is falling in love with Emma, an unattainable girl thanks to Daddy issues and their seemingly all-consuming, intellectual work as a doctor in training. Cary Elwes receives fourth billing with an almost wordless cameo, Lake Bell presents a possible love triangle, and Ben Lawson is a potential rival with just a single scene to support this term – just about every role relief is badly written and thrown for a pitiful comic.

Unfortunately, no strings attached is only an average raunchy sex comedy, likeable characters, plausibility and General Funniness is missing. No scene is outrageous, no performance is shocking and no line of dialogue is lachen-Out-loud hilarious. Portman appears as was an unlikely candidate for this kind of matter which is likely what they expect, but it does not help her shamelessly fails while romantic chemistry and delivery of uncomfortable dialogue. "Just wrong, felt that" mumbles Adam, as he pulls reluctantly from the cuddling with Emma, the problem with no strings attached by accidental, unrelated words pegging. Much of the film together is compiled as a series of simple jokes built with scenes of establishing them. It is pointless love story, exactly as expected starting a fake, cumbersome, and ends with the same degree of surprise-free mild.

Movie review: Mr Popper penguins (2011)

Adults may track their patience on the level of absurdity inherent with the improbability and impossibility of New York is businessman six penguins in his apartment house raising, but Mr Popper penguins not really for the demanding Viewer meant. Children, chubby, awkward creatures entertaining complaints must not, and the unity of the waddle parallel a familial bond is penguins not the worst moral message one could find young children offer. But there are those who believe that Jim Carrey, as father of two children and six flightless birds, grander things do could be not quite unbearable.

While Tom Popper (Jim Carrey) partnership driving purchase for a promotion to its ownership, it is further separated by his ex-wife Amanda (Carla Gugino) and his children Billy (Maxwell Perry cotton) and Janie (Madeline Carroll). When he obtained from his estranged pop unexpectedly six penguins possessions and Billy the pesky pets for his birthday present errors, Popper, to protect his plumaged companions. As he fights that Popper tried again with his family at the Parry for his new sponsors with the pressure which must balance its ongoing employer, perishable plotting of intrusive Zoo owner (Clark Gregg) intent on the poaching trained the penguins for his own purposes.

The biggest problem with Mr Popper penguins is the lack of realism. Although it clearly is young audience imagination and targeting one, is the complete disregard for the impact and follow ridiculous, especially adopted the police and a dutiful, nemesis keepers are included for purposes of control and grounds specifically. "We had fun, but it is time, back to reality," Popper says, if the authorities intervene and the Penguins are need treated currently as real animals professional. The whole film could have been more credible if it were animated. It's bad enough that the CG penguins completely visually to distinguish between live-action are of their trained colleagues.

Jim Carrey is right at home in the role of a nonsensical, overacting, free-spirited man who is desperately trying to patch his shattered love and separation from his children - the same kind of character, the he his entire career and most likely has played nothing like the popular source material (the filmmakers tried probably in vain it rolls). With gags such as a woman, the extreme alliteration, the typical football splatters on the bar, Waddlers, walk through the Guggenheim and a crowded New York suitable the smoking unnoticed and injected Penguin excrement in the face, Mr Popper penguins is unfathomable cumbersome, FAD, original, uninspired and largely pointless. The dialogue and the situations are pathetic and the supporting characters offer little help from Carrey of Obnoxiousness. If it would be for a few short clips of Chaplin's films, the whole event been excruciating.

Movie review: Green Lantern (2011)

The filmmakers are under the impression that audiences accept nothing, as long as it is soaked in special effects. Balls of gaseous substances, electric fields by lightning, vibrant rays of color, billowing smoke, fiery explosions and glowing energy beam all quickly shown and accompanied by piercing sounds - these tricks are sure to impress even the most cynical critics. Inexplicable things happen suddenly and spectators are expected to sit back and enjoy the Visual stupidity without the cryptic events in question. This is simply not true. For a movie origins Green Lantern has certainly much more explaining to do.

For centuries, the Emerald energy of spirit has known intergalactic peacekeeping force when Green was fueling lanterns. Thousands of specially selected warriors and guardians of the police of the galaxies, to suppress unimaginable forces around the evil forces of fear with their. Legendary legionnaire Abin shine sur (Temuera Morrison), with purple, translucent skin and sinews rubbery, discovered that an old monstrosity called has steadily increased Parallax and is responsible for the recent deaths of several highly skilled green lanterns. He encounters the terrible anomaly firsthand, he deadly wounded and must crash land on Earth.

Viridian energy mysteriously works and specifically choose the individuals who use their powers. When Abin dies, the ring, he has, by a literal Chartreuse charged lantern, indifferent, daring, the hotheaded Jet pilot Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds, which dramatically changed by Van Wilder) to his new housekeeper. First, he has at no interest who take over a massive sector of civilization, but with the help of negativistic ally Sinestro (mark strong), to protect bulky alien Kilowog (Michael Clarke Duncan) and bird beaked mentor are the most powerful lantern of all Tomar re (Geoffrey Rush), HAL.

Names are of early, solemn narrative, intrusive flashbacks and countless tongue twisting alien worlds and devices used characters and entities will remain on board the DC Comics faithful. With such a swift-running time, too much is quickly thrown frame content on the screen. In the vein of star wars or Star Trek that ideas are completely science fiction, working at a level closer little explanation to Thor as you iron almost nothing in reality is grounded, and is therefore worthy. "Induction process" enables communication between the people and his newfound comrades, together with rapid acceptance of his lime green muscle suit, comic mask (despite his identity, only for his cheekbones to protect), and super powers. "The ring boundaries are only what you can imagine," insists Tomar-re, a further definition meaningless.

A subplot with Dr. Hector Hammond (Peter Sarsgaard) is unnecessary and wasted, which will be built, but then invincible primary villain Parallax casually discarded and neck love interest of Carol Ferris (Blake lively, prove that it can play only a character) is hopelessly generic. It takes over an hour to develop a plot and forging an antagonist and just a few minutes to the hastily resolve everything. Impressive makeup route of repulsive rather than impressive, and follow suit, rather than effective appear absurd costumes and character design.

When attempting to look of the original comic books remain faithful, Green Lantern has produced some incredibly stupid things. The visuals are completely too goofy for non-fans, easy to digest. It provides also a great emphasis on responsibility, fears, and never as noticeably gentle give up, and uninteresting passes. As iron man 2, fantastic four: rise of the Silver Surfer, Hellboy II: the Golden is army and most of the X-men sequels, Green Lantern a hodge-podge of obsolete graphic novel lore, reinvention, redevelopment, regeneration, adaptation, stale humor and budget defense program special effects, which are an abrasive attack on the meaning and supplications bleak film-making.

Movie review: I am the fourth place (2011)

If you have enjoyed a steady diet of twilight movies, superhero movies and science fiction TV shows, you like I am number four. But probably not. The film is based on the novel book of the same name, is almost entirely by other related substances, leave permanently absent entity derived individuality. The most confusing problem is that twilight the high school romance is better, the comic book movies to the action treat with more finesse and television characters less cardboard. If this is number four, I am only grateful, we had to wallow through one, two and three.

After only nine is besieged with their homeworld of Lorien of Mogadorians, a ruthless race of alien invaders, gifted young people on the ground to escape and are waiting for their fate. John (Alex Pettyfer) is such a survivor who, together with his guardian Henri (Timothy Olyphant), on the escape to avoid, is found, by the Mogadorians constantly remain must. After learning of the murder of an other Lorien, John and Henri's head after paradise, Ohio, where they hope that was low and discover a way to, contact with the remaining allies. When Sarah (Dianna Agron), a pretty photographer at his high school, John in in love, he decides to stay and fight, rather than continue running - a decision which is him against a relentless team of brutal alien executioner pit.

Sometimes (although rarely) mediocre dialogue in the presence of large action can be awarded. Unfortunately I am number four neither. Direction conversation, if not the actual exchanges can probably guess, before anyone has spoken and often in an episode of Scooby-Doo, rivals found the revelations. The dialogue drifts into extremely difficult area on a number of occasions and can not handle realism, if the talks are to be clumsy. Friendships, his father's guidance, antagonistic threats and confessions of love felt never so lame.

Perhaps even less frequently but humdrum dialogue can be dismissed if of the interesting characters and inspiring demeanors. Nothing here. John's defense should it attempt, mix and invisible. He succeeds, but not that the audience the disservice. Sarah gives a probably pretty face, but certainly no more, and Timothy Olyphant Henri tried very hard, but could not overcome the boredom of the script. The otherworldly rogues are perhaps the most cringe worthy, spit speeches too much before killing their victims to commit broken English about harsh alien speech and the cardinal.

A few interesting shots during the battle making a occurs, although its appearance disappears their ingenuity quickly under the sloppy special effects and the behemoth animals, the Lovechild a flying squirrel and the Cloverfield Monster. If inexplicably powerful young people, huge sugar glider creatures and hokey glowing flashlight hands are your cup of tea, is this up for you.

Movie review: Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011)

Kung Fu Panda 2 uses the same techniques that made its predecessor success: a goofy character fighting desperately to fit in; comic character design and playful animation; and an all star cast of voice actor with such recognizable articulation, that they the visual barrier of her 3D alter ego against. Although the first film defines the characters, their relationships, fates and the setting of the ancient Asia, this second trip has the option, each role use purely for action, adventure, comic relief and even a little pathos. Only when the Sappiness to the point, the script has to enough sense thwart unbearable ramps which eye rolls (or tears) when the manipulation worked with strongly contrasting humor.

Po (Jack Black) the overweight Panda has been proclaimed the Almighty "Dragon Warrior", and monitors the safety of China with his band of capable Sidekicks, the furious five: Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Mantis (Seth Rogen), monkey (Jackie Chan), crane (David Cross) and Viper (Lucy Liu). He talks master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman) about the search for inner peace with his patients, looting a gang of bandits Wolf of a nearby town looking for metal objects, force Po to depart for a hasty rescue. As he will soon discover, the exile Peacock has Mr Shen (Gary Oldman) forged fire-breathing, metal spewing gun to wipe out those who are on his way to world domination.

It is questionable whether the story has grown more entertaining, especially when you consider that the action is little more than a generic Kung Fu history of good against evil, like the kind found in just about any live action martial arts film in the last decades. While the main conflict a relentless Overlord with obedience is Po's army and destructive weapons, the underlying discordance hazy memory of the past and the desire to know who he is, as the son of a goose, landed, and what happened to his real parents. Is Po trust or revenge drive? His actions of inner peace, are on as the film provoked preach, or by the powerful force that is adrenaline pumping payback,?

Perhaps he is simply try was successful on "hardcore" so that he can test with his companions. And if this is the case, it's a shame that so much of his time annoyingly foliation reconnaissance, ambush and rescue missions with his stunning defiance and clumsy clumsiness is issued. It is sometimes fun to see how pathetic its compared warriors counterparts, but equally annoying in the no-nonsense General, that he learned the hard way, that for his ruthless actions follow. This leads to the invincibility issued by all parties, the urgent and serious affects each dilemma which. Po is immune to injury and planless accidental frying pan, a lucky mistake or a loose floor plank protects from damage with one, which until swings (occur like on a rake), to block a rush of throwing knives in lower arm Holster. Crane similarly avoid risk with spastic flight and tigress has flamed at all any more - excuses they only whiskers suffers after taking a Cannonball on the face. Gravity and physics also seem the heroes, completely avoiding play no role in their unlikely escapes - although you the creative complex Chase sequences is intense and spontaneous.

Movie review: X-men: first class (2011)

It is undoubtedly a melody excitement or at least curiosity, to see what makes the movie for fans of the X-men characters takes franchise stories originating. As expected, be massive liberties with every mutant and while some are clever and other artificial, are revised from the ground a few to the point that they are identifiable by name only to their comic book counterparts. It may be admirable to fabricate realism mutant lore in history, mix, but is the best way to do this fight against Nazis and fight with the Cuban missile crisis? Perhaps it is better (with angry space alien legs may not be for today's audience crush Professor X savoury) create more plausible explanations for certain characteristics, but with historical events, manipulation is always a little difficult to accept. Even forgive all such changes in the space time continuum, not the often explosive action sequences can mask the stupidity and futility of many of the new mutants. We speak to you, dragonfly girl and sonar boy.
A prequel to two X-men origins: Wolverine and the original X-men Trilogy, first class explores the beginnings of the telepathic genius Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and metal manipulation mutant Erik Lehnscherr (Michael Fassbender) and their rise to founder of the X-men. If the CIA on Xavier stop help calls the machinations of the mad Sebastian Shaw (Kevin Bacon), Erik is his thing with vengeful motives of his own. If the two start recruiting new mutants for the train any dispute with Shaw and developed his band of the superhuman cohorts, a crack in the ideal is the creation of magneto and the brotherhood of mutants cause.
X-men: first class has an excellent job of setting in motion all events and themes, often the original film trilogy. It should be noted, that errors have been watching the first three films, or to acquire at least basic knowledge of the X-men story, is aptly and humorously using all elements previously in films taking place as a major drawback, as the origins of film in chronological order in the future. With the large number of mutants both old and new, it is surprisingly, how well everything connects (save for a training montage with genetic engineering and research, mental quiescence, specified, creation of technologically advanced mechanisms and honing structure have taken to a mere week). Unfortunately, as so much of the screenplay focuses on introductions and designs according to a separate movie, the entertainment value is based almost exclusively on these connections, some intense scenes of destruction and special effects, and the strained relationship between Xavier and feudal Lord.
Super Heroes are generally enjoyable to watch, especially when they are called to unleash their powerful forces irredeemable evil-doer. In this case some of the fun is muddy when so many mutants. Magneto, Professor X and even mystique have been left amusing, but some of the less well-known Marvel entities should in the cutting room floor. Angel Salvadore Dragonfly flies is petite with wings especially silly, with little more than the ability; Hank McCoy is decorated with oversized feet, and even the complete conversion in beast, hardly shows enhanced strength; and the worst is Banshee, a winged costume to randomly across the sky, to shout lift gently to the right frequency will rise must use. Although they are all young people training to use their destructive powers, recruit was not why Xavier some experienced, serious, older mutants with only one ounce discipline?
One of the biggest questions surrounding the X-men: first class is regardless of whether it without Wolverine that could survive the undisputedly most popular characters from the comics. While the film still occasionally, in particular with the truly moving friendship between any archenemies Professor X and magneto, which may ultimately disappointed fans insertion into the story without drastic changes in the result, and action-packed fight sequences, diversion is be, to see a strong antihero absent from the picture. It is likely that greater outrage but trip is revealed (or mutated to the point of fiction) from the comparison of the supernatural mutation to homosexuality, as non-human creatures easily laughed off.

Movie review: The cat part II (2011)

The male part II offers a further dose of debauched misadventures "Wolf Pack" by comedians to those hungry for more after the original film sure. Returns a familiar mix of severity and silliness, entertaining to the procedure, if not a little too serious to keep. Personal injury and drug fueled antics lose exactly you try not their edge for a few one-liners to obscure their gravity and all Zach Galifianakis scatterbrained outbreaks can counteract not the Repulsiveness of the grosser moments of the film. If the hangover part II's main task was to his predecessor in shock top, it was successful. We are not sure whether this is a compliment or not.

On the eve of Stu (Ed Helms) wedding in Thailand, Phil (Bradley Cooper), Doug (Justin Bartha) and Alan (Zach Galifianakis) convince the normally mild-mannered dentist to join them for a last drink on the beach. If the Group of friends in the morning without memory last night violations in Bangkok to wake up and discover, that brother is now the bride Teddy (Mason Lee) is missing, they must once again their tracks to find the defunct youth and give Stu in good time before his wedding track. But if it results in their research to the vengeful gangsters, cigarette smoking monkey and the return of an old criminal kingpin, remembering their drunken mishaps is the first thing they want to forget.

Although it has as a continuation and synchronized "Part II", this follow-up to the highly successful previous comedy is almost a remake. The similarities between the two are abundant, starting with an identical cast, the very same story, a matching tone, equal portions directness and exposure familiar mayhem, male (what is happening to the days of gratuitous female nudity?), one according to intrusive soundtrack and all types of body fluids. The trio respond to unexpected events, panic situations, mysterious known, smuggled goods, drugs and unnatural forgive women remains on par with the original as well. If the formula work and fans for more, stick with it are itching, notice the filmmakers clearly.

"I can't believe that this will happen again!" screams Stu in a dirty Bangkok Street. The male part II brings spontaneity to new heights, despite its recycling of plot, with its share of serious dilemmas. While humor is reserved Galifianakis almost completely Zach, once again steals the show personality and disregard for safety, decency and poise with his wildly eccentric, idiosyncratic disturbingly, stay-at-home son. The rest is a mix of darkly comic misadventures of disturbing, shocking to downright disgusting. At every turn the trio with violence, questionable pharmaceuticals, threats, dirt, sexual deviation and visual is attacked, abomination, what a rarer form of comedy, the experience of successful box office venture (based on the first film $ 44 million opening) and even a critical winners (landing the Golden Globe for best picture - musical or comedy). Too bad this sequel is expected for the rather ignorant approach error sex and the City 2 managed to escape after Thailand, a race not be tilted.

Paul movie review

Paul is the simple story of an alien with an attitude and a heart of gold. In fact, the entire point of the film is so sweet that it is almost impossible to believe that that most of the film itself seems rough and sometimes cruel. In contrast to Shaun of the dead (2004) and Hot Fuzz (2007), which were helmed by Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, an avid brought us "Who said it" film filled with numerous references and... political sharpness. All of this, Superbad (2007) and Director Greg Mottola Adventureland (2009). Mottola's filmography is small, but consistent - he is a comedian with his own much to say Director. This is a form of direction, I have always appreciated; the ability, other lamps in the draw to your own specific messages in the foreground can be. But here, Paul has no intention of match the delivery. And those who hinder positive memories of the movie in retrospect,.

As I a few weeks saw this movie about, and I remember that I laughed throughout. It is a comedy funny, sharp and insanely rich. With the talents of Pegg, Frost, and Mottola we get also Bill Hader, Jason Bateman, Kristen Sigourney Weaver, David koechner in and Seth WIIG, Roe vote as alien Paul. Outside the Pegg, Frost, ROE and Wiig all other actors have borderline cameo roles, but her legs get enough material to lines and use the ball rolling.

Kristen Wiig shines brighter than the other, than the one eyed (but doe-eyed) hardcore Christian. You discovered Paul after he concludes Pegg and frost on their road trip by "Conquered America" is ComiCon and other attractions science fiction and their faith is shaken. Their switch between a biting Bible Thumper, and a complete and savage heretic is hilarious, involved and thorough. It is a brilliant and thoughtful comedic performance. Another strong achievement is FBI agent Mulder type hunting Paul, Jason Bateman and his driver. Given the opportunity not only for straight and undeterred comedic moments, he has the chance, a bit dramatic muscle as well as to show, and he stands out.

The most reviews I've read for this movie have a concern of his numerous could refer. Apparently, it takes from the film, rather than to improve it. I fervently disagree. With Shaun of the dead and Hot Fuzz, Pegg and frost pretty much cemented have their place in the Apatow from genre (think the 40 year old Virgin and knocked up), "What is what" the references and homages are a true as their movies. If you go this don't expect, you are not as would have to be ready for the film, such as you. It has become a staple of Pegg/Frost pairings numbers pays attention to the people who inspired it. You have a long list of muses, and everyone must be recognized.

Compared to other films which have released it, this is a less effort. The battle between atheists and Christians is shown clearly and not needed, and where is the part of some cruel, and that several story arcs conflict tends to be more than they should have was allowed in the cutting room. But everything connects pretty, if not a bit too easy. The technical aspects leave much to be desired, however. Camera, music, etc., are all pretty boring.

The outstanding, above all else mentioned, the conversion of Seth is shown above ROE in the alien. Absolutely spotless computer imagery. It has been a while since I was so impressed, but this is the type of work are a year by the now again waiting at the Oscars should be remembered. Dinosaur look real in 1993 made, I am proud of the fact that an independent film an alien come in bright life in such a vibrant, weird tangible way can make. Most, that, though, is undeniably strong work by Seth Rogen. He is a gentle actor and a comedic force, the pitch-perfect casting for a role.
