Movie review: Welcome to Riley (2010)

With a common name, no family in the 2010 welcome met Riley make. Doug Riley see is something more that just a 16 year old runaway stripper in Kristen Stewart's character strategically known by many different names (such as Mallory, Allison, etc..) After the loss of his own 15-year old daughter, Emily, not to drink the atypical, middle-class Riley to a car accident, the or the abuse of its shut-in wife, Lois, could that say, to keep the debt. He continues to go his weekly poker games and tried, the gap left now distant wife fill a waitress named Vivian with love. When she dies to Riley is forced to deal with the loss of his family. Lois believes they are dead and buys tombstones in addition to Emily's with nothing but the date of death, be filled in with her and her husband. After all, what is life without the daughter, have you raised and loved for 15 years?

Things take a strange turn for the better when Riley goes on a business trip to New Orleans and is most definitely still any wife "Mallory" (Kristen Stewart), a teenage girl. Mallory ran away from home in Florida for reasons that we are not given, but one can only assume if it shake on stage and perform sexual acts on men is twice as old preferable. At first, Riley plays only the part of a decent guy who is a struggling teen and gives her money without sexual interest in her, despite their progress.

He makes friends with her and begins to treat her like a daughter, but their conditions. Strangely, seems Riley exactly with can handle the situation. For example, to their blatant disregard for the use of the "F" control word in his presence he their $1 docks for every time it says the $100 he pays her a day to life in their run down House. Although Doug take her under his wing as a daughter seems he seems to keep a wall between them. Conversely, when Lois finally until nerve will leave the House to go to New Orleans, empowerment restore themselves with their own efforts, their place with Doug, she takes on a motherly role with Mallory almost immediately.

That is, when she learns that her husband is not perverse, with a 16 year old girl is sleeping. It is stunning how easily transforming work up-tight Lois in a caring, maternal figure for Mallory, despite the young lady. She is confused even Mallory's mother in a department store where Doug and Lois very take a shopping trip family esque together.

This perfect family is reconstruction but not to the last. Doug and Lois Mallory deal with the fact that they no longer have a daughter, but they have each other, and now in a small way. At the end of the film, Doug receives a phone call from Mallory where they both agree to keep in touch. Doug to finally break through the wall, which he has had between the two of them and might find some comfort for the loss of his own daughter as he ye call by their first names as Lois as Allison could do from the beginning.
