Last week, I wrote that a hate Perspectives of ten reasons entitled post of Your site. It is important, what people think of your site, you have another group of visitors, you need to attract and engage on your website - engines of research.

Unfortunately, unlike people who respond generally in the same way, there is much conflicting information on the web about SEO and SEM, and the rules seem to change every day.

While we work with small business owners improve their Web site, these are the things that keep us in mind:

Too many flash - or worse yet, a complete site built in flash. The once popular designer toy, flash tools creates visual interest to a site. They are however, loss of popularity as a tire of visitors from the time that they take to load and are frustrated with the flash animation is not visible on their iPhone. But this list is on the search engines, and unfortunately the search engines may not watch the video or see the clever effects. Our recontamination - reduce or completely eliminate the flash.
Untagged images - search engines Web become more intelligent, and they have limited ability to "see" pictures, but why make it guess. When you add a picture be sure to appoint correctly, with the key words and phrases (image1.jpg is not a good idea). Be sure to include a tag and a description. Support the text as a caption or the description, explanation, below, or somewhere near the image more clarifying what it is.
Duplicate content - Search engines see this as a means of "game" of the system. If you share the content of other Web sites simply lift the entire article. Your content has more value if you pull just a segment and add your own unique spin.
Website based on the framework structure- Until a few years ago, many websites have been built with frames. The structure of the box organizes information on the page, but it is difficult for a search engine understand what that is the most important content. (CSS) cascading style sheets provide a search engine friendly alternative, helping the search engine "see" what is more important. (This is one of the many reasons that we enjoy working with WordPress)
Repetitive page titles and meta - tags (see note above) The page titles and meta tags are the bait to attract the search engines. If every page on your site the same page titles and tags, the engines will be less likely to look more closely. It is very well to have similar phases, but every page has a reason for its existence. Use page titles to identify the single reason
No page titles, slugs or headers - An offense worse then repeat titles, is no equity at all. This is your chance to lead engines your website in an organized manner, by ensuring that they view the most important information.
Too many keywords - more is not better! When it comes to the attention of search engines, adding in a large number of semi-under key words will in fact be lowering your search engine rankings. Instead each page stuffing ability, use your blog to create many pages and vary depending on the keywords per page.
Irrelevant tags or key words- if you want to save research, is not a small business Marketing title page and use the term in the tags and key words. Your content must contain the exact key phrase or Google will consider your keywords and irrelevant tags.
Old content - like people, search engines get bored. As search engines analyze your site, they are seeking new content. If they deem it, they are more likely to return again and again. If you are neglecting your site, it will be Google.
You look good on all browsers - OK, so it's a "people" and then a search engine problem, but I already had 10 items on this list. The days of the dominance of Internet Explorer have long disappeared. In August 2010, Firefox required 45.8% of the Internet Explorer browser market fell 30.7% and Chrome was climbing with 17%. Safari with 3.5 per cent and the Opera with 2.3% consisting of the balance. Each of theses browsers will display your Web site a little differently. Make sure that test you the design and function on all of them before you start.

As you read the list you think might win the attention of search engines is on the game system. It is not. It's content. To attract people and search engines write smart, content relevant and all the rest will be falling in place.
